Hello friends! I’m almost done writing paper #1 (it was a short one) but then I gotta write #2 by Monday then I’m done! And then I’ll be making ALL the macarons in preparation for macaron week =) I’m excited! Are you excited?

Also, before I forget. Some of you have been asking me for photography tips and need help with all the finicky settings of your camera. And you had questions about lighting.
I’m not sure if you saw my button in the sidebar…but you should check out Taylor’s Photographing FOOD eZine. I bought the one for indoor/night lighting and it has LOTS of awesome pictures with a lot of detail about which settings on the camera do what to the photos. He shows you how to manipulate shutterspeed and F-stop (aperture) to get the photos you want. There are 4 issues so far: Window Lighting, Colour and Camera, Shooting at Night (thats the one I bought), and Ingredient and Process shots. Each issue is only $5 each and it’s definitely worth it!
